Stud
How to play 7-Card Stud
Stud is older than Hold'em and still in every mixed-game rotation. There is no flop. Each player is building their own seven-card hand, four of those cards face up. The information is on the table if you look.
Streets
Third street: two down, one up (the door card), and a bring-in from the lowest door. Fourth, fifth and sixth: one up card each. Seventh: one down card. Best five of your seven win. Action after third starts with the strongest showing board, not with a button.
Live and dead
If you have two hearts and two more hearts are already in other people's upcards, your flush draw is dying. If you have a pair of kings and a king is up elsewhere, you have one out not two. Hold'em players stare at their hole cards. Stud players stare at everyone else's board. That is the whole game, plus knowing when a showing pair is a steal.
