Poker money is not rent money, grocery money, or 'I'll win it back before Friday' money. If the bankroll and life money share an account, your buddy will make scared or desperate decisions.
Practical: a separate account or ledger. Only move profits out on a schedule. Only move buy-ins in when the bankroll says so.
