'Capped vs uncapped' (NLH cash, G2): Name the node (SPR, position, range advantage, player type) before you act — then update every street.
A range is capped when it can't contain the nuts (e.g., flat-called pre and check-called twice without raising). Uncapped ranges can still have the nuts.
