'Deep early' (NLH tournaments, G0): Chip EV ≠ dollar EV near jumps; name your role (short/medium/big) before you act.

Deep: play closer to strong cash fundamentals — position, playable hands, avoid dominated flatting. Antes/blinds still eventually force action, but early spew is free donation.
