Discard before the flop

Regular Pineapple: you're dealt three hole cards, discard one before the flop, then play Hold'em with two. The discard is permanent.

Skill: keep the two cards that play best together — usually the suited broadway, the pair, or the connector. Don't keep 'an ace and two randoms' if the ace doesn't partner well.

'Discard before the flop' (Pineapple, G0): Pineapple gives you three hole cards and you discard one before the flop (regular) or after (Crazy Pineapple). The discard is the whole strategy — treat it like a forced range edit, not a coin flip.
