Bricks
'Bricks' (Razz, G0): Razz: high cards and pairs are bricks. Two bricks before fifth usually means fold to heat — pretty starts don't override dead boards.
A brick is a card that doesn't help your low — usually a pair or a high card (king, queen, etc.). Catching bricks on fourth and fifth while an opponent stays smooth (all low upcards) is how you bleed.
If you start with (A2)3 and catch K then Q, you are not 'still drawing.' You're in trouble against a smooth (A4)2 board.
