Near the money, calling off a medium stack with a marginal hand can be much worse in $EV than chip EV suggests. Prefer folds that let shorter stacks bust.
If two shorter stacks are all-in elsewhere this hand, you can sometimes fold a coin-flip and let the field bust for you. Paying attention to other tables/tables left is part of the job.
