When you don't make a badugi

If you never get four different suits/ranks, you show your best three-card badugi-ish hand (three different suits/ranks). Any four-card badugi beats any three-card hand. Always.

That means drawing for a four-card hand is often mandatory when opponents take one or stand pat with credible pat looks. Standing pat with a rough three-card hand is how your buddy donates.

'When you don't make a badugi' (Badugi, G0): Pat Badugis get respect until notes say otherwise. Hero-calling with rough three-cards into double pats is how rolls evaporate.
