Three draws, escalating information
Sequence: ante/blinds → deal 4 → bet → draw1 → bet → draw2 → bet → draw3 → bet → showdown. Each draw is a chance to improve and a chance to read how many cards opponents take.
Pat (drawing zero) early often represents a made badugi. Drawing one is common with a three-card hand chasing the fourth. Drawing three is weak/desperate more often than not.
Grade-K skill: watch draw counts before you invent a hero call. If two players stand pat and you still have a three-card 8, fold more.
- Pat early ≈ strength
- Draw counts are information
