Bring-in and who acts
On third street, many stud games force a bring-in: the player showing the lowest door card (by rank, with suit used to break ties in some rooms) must put in a small forced bet. Other players can complete to the full small bet or fold/call/raise depending on the structure.
After third street, action usually starts with the player showing the highest hand in their upcards. That's different from hold'em, where the button / blinds dictate order.
If you're used to button poker, this feels weird for a week. Then it becomes natural: read the boards, find who acts first, play.
