River: locked halves

'River: locked halves' (stud hi-lo, G0): Stud hi-lo: scooping and freerolling beat split-hope. Qualifying lows matter — know whether an 8-low qualifies in your game.

If low is locked against you and you lose high, fold to pressure. If you have the nut low and a freeroll high draw, you can be more aggressive.

Freerolls (you can't lose one half and might win the other) are golden. Pure hope calls are not.
